I have compared with my $[...] guitar and this little guitar can keep up. I am thinking of getting another. I highly recommend this product. Shipping was excellent also. It came perfect! |

| | It's cheap one for a beginner like me. It's glossy, looks nice but it's a fingerprint magnet and I have a feeling that it's kind of fragile. I bought a $100 guitar from Target store for my friend as a birthday gift and it's a huge difference. So my advice is that you can spend $50 more on a much better one at Target, Walmart or BJ ... and get away with the shipping cost (it cost $10+ to ship this guitar to my home) |

| I'm a beginner guitarist, and I play left hand. (go figure) So, my selections were limited, plus I didn't want to invest a lot upfront, until I decided whether or not this was something I'd stick to. After doing a lot of online research, I decided to pull the trigger. The Valenica acoustic guitar was my choice and it's definitely a great deal! I purchased mine online from RONDO Music ([...]), and absolutely love it. Incidentally, 's price for this guitar is comparable to RONDO'S.
My first impression was wow! It has a very beautiful wood finish. It is light weighted, but sturdy. This guitar has all but replaced my electric Strat! The build quality is excellent, and the sound is smooth, crisp, deep, and rich. Since I play a lot, I normally tune with my Korg GA-1 at least once a week. But don't get it twisted! The Valencia maintains a great tune. It's never off-tune that much, just a tweak here and there, and you're back in business. The first three top strings are nylon and the bottom three are steel. Plus you have the option to upgrade strings if you so desire. This is great, since some acoustic guitars don't have that option.
Amazing what 40 bucks can buy! I highly recommend this guitar to beginners or medium skill levels, who want a good instrument, but don't want to invest a lot of money upfront.

| | Bought this for my 9 year old grand daughter. She loves music and has really enjoyed the guitar I got her for Christmas. She had learned to play it. The guitar is really pretty and comes with a case as well, I shopped for a guitar for about 6 weeks and this is a winner. The tuning is also good and is perfect for a first guitar. Should last for a long time. |

| I was very pleased with this guitar. It took a couple days to get it to keep in tune, but I think that is the case with lots of guitars. For the money, this is the best guitar you will probably find.
I wanted a second guitar, as my main guitar is a Yamaha C-40 that I've had for over fifteen years. I was just wanting something to mess around on, but was pleasantly surprised to find that I got much more. The tone of this guitar is even, which is very important. Some guitars have booming bass, but hardly audible treble or vice versa. This guitar is beautiful in its simplistic design and has a beautiful tone. I would recommend it for any beginner or anyone who just wants to add a classical guitar to your arsenal of instruments without having to pay an arm and leg.
I'm not sure, but I'm willing to bet that as is the case with my Yamaha, the older this guitar gets, the better it will sound. You can't go wrong with this sweet deal. |
