| | This violin is what it says it is, a beginner violin. I have seen many people saying that it doesn't stay in tune, which is not true. However, the tuning keys come very very loosely in, so in order for the violin to stay in tune, you must push the tuning keys in as far as you can, so they don't just slip back out of tune. As far as beginner sets go, this is the best one that I've seen yet. A decent bow, a fully functional violin, a bridge that is good (people who say you have to get a professional to carve it are stupid, the bridge is fine), and a case that serves its b well. The only drawback is that the rosin that comes with itsnt very good and makes every note sound squeaky and painful to listen to, so I reccomend getting different rosin as soon as you get the violin. I've found is the best place to buy good rosin for a cheap price. A great buy that I would reccomend to anybody and everybody who wants to start playing violin. |

| My friend really wanted to learn how to play the violin but didn't have any money, so being the nice guy I am, I bought it for her. Let me start off by saying that considering the price, this is a really good deal. The violin is great for those who want to learn how to play the violin, and the carrying case is very nice, top quality, the bow also excellent condition, and the violin very pretty. The rosin that came with the violin is absolute garbage, but considering rosin is cheap, that doesn't really hinder the purchase. Additionally, the bridge is a bit off, but again, this is a beginner's violin, so no biggy. The strings can be iffy, so I recommend buying new strings, the ones that come with it, at least for me, didn't last long.
*Note to considering buyers* Be sure to push the pegs in all the way, otherwise you will either not tighten the strings enough or end up snapping them, like I did...
I bought this violin for around $40, with super saving shipping, then bought new rosin, and a "2 set replacement strings", costing me a grand total of about $65-$70, so be ready to spend around that much.
All in all considering the price, this is a fantastic deal, but remember that this is a beginner's violin, and if you plan to play professionally or more complex and/or fast songs, think carefully about this violin. If you plan to buy this as a band instrument, speak with your instructor to approve this before hand. |

| The rosin that comes with it was smashed and unusable. I read the other reviews and bought some rosin for 2 bucks with the violin.
Other reviews stated that they had to get the bridge carved by a professional. Sorry to say they got ripped off by the professional as it does not need to be carved.
As for tuning, I have no idea what I'm doing so I still don't know if I'm in tune but I haven't popped a string yet.
The bridge does not come installed, so I found a youtube video on how to place it and it seems to work pretty well.
I'm overall satisfied for the price I paid. First instrument ever for me.
