| My 18 month old daughter loves to shake these while she's dancing to salsa merengue. Very cute. They fit in her grip and they do have a nice sound. |
| Good little shakers...but don't get them wet! | 2010-08-10 | 4 / 5 |

Nice simple little egg shakers - my 10 month old loves them! I wouldn't let him play with them by himself though because they are smaller than his Kindermusik shakers and I could totally see a toddler fitting the whole thing in their mouth. I'm sure they couldn't swallow it, but it might be hard to get out of their mouth! ( =
The only problem is that I let him play with them in the bath, and black liquid started leaking out of the green shaker. No idea what it is but I had to throw it away! Otherwise they are great, although I would probably buy some larger ones next time. |

| My 2 year old LOVES these. He dances around and shakes them to the music. I also teach a music class and use these and they are universally loved by all children. ANd you can't beat the price!Voice Lessons To Go Volume 1: Vocalize and Breath |

These were smaller than I had expected but that was really a good thing since I was ordering them for my 2-year old.
After attending some music/movement classes and using some egg rhythm shakers there and having fun with them I decided to get some for at home. They're a fun easy way to keep a beat and get a little exercise while doing so, my daughter likes that she can run around and shake them as opposed to having to sit still to play a different type of rhythm instrument that would require more concentration.
They are well-made and sturdy, although as always with children I would suggest supervision, I imagine these little things would definitely break if a child were to walk or stand on it.
For an adult's hand I find them to be rather small, if you wrap your whole hand around it the sound is muffled a bit. The only other option is to hold it between your finger-tips which can be a bit awkward. |
| Small but nice shaker | 2010-02-01 | 4 / 5 |

| The shaker is quite small- but my daughter enjoys playing with it. I would recommend this if you are looking for a palm sized shaker. |
